Siwertell is an unloading facility of ultramodern design ("screw conveyor system") enabling sea-going vessels to be unloaded at the rate of up to 500 tons of fishmeal per hour. The fishmeal is unloaded in horizontal steps into a closed system, so that pollution of the environment can practically be ruled out.

Thanks to this equipment, hardly any other facility (for instance for trimming work) is necessary. Goods handling is carried out in completely closed conveyor systems. The weight is established by means of bucket-type scales with a maximum capacity of up to 500 tons per hour.
